MORE THAN A BODY PART

THERE IS A WHOLE PERSON IN THE ROOM.

Movement fits into a life: the work you do, the activities you enjoy and the routines that matter. Those details belong in the conversation.
We listen to your priorities, explain the assessment and discuss the options with you. Questions are always welcome.
YOUR FIRST VISIT

MEET. TALK. UNDERSTAND THE NEXT STEP.

01

Tell your story.

Discuss what brings you in, your relevant history and the activities you would like to talk about.
02

Take a closer look.

Your physiotherapist explains the assessment and asks for your agreement before proceeding.
03

Talk it through.

Review what has been discussed, ask your questions and consider the appropriate next steps together.
MOVEMENT HAS MANY FORMS

FROM YOUR DAY-TO-DAY TO YOUR OWN KIND OF ACTIVE.

Your goals may involve work, a hobby, exercise or the ordinary movements of your day. Tell us what has your attention.

A QUESTION WE MAKE ROOM FOR

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE US TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT YOUR DAY?

The answer helps us hear the person behind the appointment.
CLEAR WORDS. SHARED UNDERSTANDING.

A PLAN YOU CAN DISCUSS.

Physiotherapy includes a conversation about what is appropriate for you. We explain the proposed approach and make room for your questions and preferences.

Understand the options

Discuss the proposed care, what it involves and any relevant alternatives.

Agree the next step

Know what has been agreed and how to raise a question about it.

Review the experience

Talk about how things have been going and whether the approach needs to be reconsidered.

YOUR OWN KIND OF ACTIVE

THE THINGS YOU CARE ABOUT COUNT.

You do not need a sporting ambition to have a movement goal. Everyday routines can be the most important part of the conversation.
Tell us what matters in your life, without needing to compare it with anyone else.
Begin with your story

MAKE THE VISIT WORK FOR YOU.

If you have a question about access, communication, bringing someone with you or feeling comfortable at an appointment, let us know before you visit.
We can discuss the practical details and what arrangements may be possible.
Ask a practical question
BEFORE YOU VISIT

A FEW PRACTICAL DETAILS.

Appointment details

Ask about availability, the appointment format and fees when you enquire. We will confirm the details before your visit.

What to bring

We can explain what information may be useful and discuss any preparation relevant to your appointment.

Referrals & cover

If your visit involves a referral or third-party cover, mention this when you enquire so the requirements can be discussed.
YOUR QUESTIONS ARE WELCOME

GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BEGIN.

Do I need to know what is wrong before I enquire?

You can start by asking about an assessment appointment. The first visit provides space to discuss your concerns and relevant history.

Do I have to be sporty?

No. Everyday movement, work and personal activities can all be part of the discussion.

Will I know what is happening during the visit?

Your physiotherapist explains the assessment and proposed approach. You can ask questions and discuss your preferences before agreeing to proceed.

How many visits will I need?

That depends on your individual situation and the care discussed after assessment. A course of appointments is not assumed in advance.
