SUPPORT / WORK TOOLS / PLANNED CHANGE
THE WHOLE PICTURE

Not just the laptop.
The working day
around it.

People, devices, work tools and connections depend on each other. Our first conversation brings those parts into view so the support plan has a useful shape.
A simple service map — shaped around your team.

BEHIND EVERY SUPPORT QUESTION

There’s a person
trying to get
something done.

A screen that will not connect. An account that needs setting up. A new colleague who needs a useful first day. Understanding the person and the task helps us discuss the right next step.

A USEFUL FIRST CONVERSATION

Bring the picture
you have.

You do not need a perfect inventory. A practical starting point is enough to discuss the work and the information we may need next.

01 / The people

Who uses the tools, where they work and who handles decisions.

02 / The setup

The devices, work tools and existing providers you know about.

03 / The priorities

What is getting in the way, or the change you need to make.
NEW PEOPLE / NEW PLACE / NEW TOOLS

Make the change
with the details
in view.

Office moves, new equipment and changes to work tools often touch more than one part of the setup. We discuss the people, access and dependencies around the work before a plan is agreed.
Describe your project →

THE PARTS BETWEEN THE PEOPLE

A working setup
is a shared picture.

Your internet provider, software suppliers and in-house contacts may each have a role. A useful service plan makes those responsibilities clear instead of assuming every issue belongs in the same place.

SOMETHING GETTING IN THE WAY?

Describe the
working-day
problem.

Tell us what is happening, who is affected and which device or work tool is involved. We will discuss whether the issue fits our services and what the next step involves.
Already have an agreed support arrangement? Use the contact route set out in your service plan.

A FEW USEFUL PROMPTS

Small questions.
A clearer brief.

A new colleague?

Think about the equipment, accounts and access they need before the first day.

A change of place?

Bring connections, equipment and the people coordinating the move into one conversation.

A repeated issue?

Share when it appears, who sees it and what has changed. Patterns add useful context.
AN OCCASIONAL CLEAR NOTE

Useful thinking
for the working day.

Plain-language notes about planning changes and making the everyday IT brief more useful.

BEFORE WE GET STARTED

A few things to know.

Do we need to replace our current IT provider?

Not necessarily. Tell us how responsibilities are currently shared. We can discuss whether a specific service or project fits alongside that arrangement.

Is support available around the clock?

Service hours, contact routes and response arrangements are agreed in the support plan. An initial enquiry does not create a support commitment.

Can you quote from a short description?

A short brief helps us understand the request. An assessment may be needed before scope, dependencies and cost can be confirmed.

What information should we send?

Start with a general description of the team, tools and concern. Leave out passwords and private customer information; further access arrangements are agreed separately.
YOUR TEAM. YOUR NEXT CHANGE.

What needs
to work
differently?

Share the team, the intended outcome and the timing you have in mind. We will discuss an appropriate next step before a project or support plan is agreed.
Prefer to start with a question? That is a useful first step too.
